‘Landscape Icons’ is an ongoing photographic project by Janne van Gilst which started in 2014. It examines the Dutch landscape, through deconstruction, as she searches for the iconic elements of the land and isolates them form the rest of the backdrop. These icons, characterize the identity of the Dutch landscape. A landscape that is largely shaped by man.
The print is on transparent foil and comes in a handmade oak frame.
